There is an organisation that gives scholarships for students from middle and eastern Europe. It is named the Evangelisches Studienwerk e.V. Villigst and sponsored by the Protestant churches. The scholarships are for gifted students of all subjects with a Protestant background. The offer includes

• individual advice and counselling from academic advisors and from a netwoek of local academic counsellors at the univerasity or college of the studen
• participation in various intersdisciplinary seminars at the summer
  univerait
• grass-roots democratic involvelent for scholars in the organisation
